i think i kind of like this guy, you know...

I'm sure I'm way behind on this, but I just heard this guy, and I love him...you know? I mean, he is onto something in his own sort of way if you know what I mean. I think we should let him join the conversation.

There is a difference between speaking with conviction and speaking with arrogance. There is also a difference between speaking with conviction and having a conversation.

The person who speaks with conviction is the person who has learned to say "no" without regret and "yes" with enthusiasm.

Speaking with conviction is "speaking the truth in love" and that is a form of speech rarely heard.

Very interesting, Fr'nklin. We have this idol in our world that everyone's opinion is to be accepted as having equal validity and value and needs to be respected as such. Unfortunately, that leads to us devaluing our own opinion. Or maybe even His...
