the gods aren't angry...

Evidently Rob Bell is on a speaking tour entitled the gods aren't angry. I was interested to see what it was about - if you are, you can check it out HERE.

If you want to read (IMHO) a fair review of the tour...then click HERE.

Ya know, at best I find Bell very sloppy. At worst, he is at least walking on or near that dreaded heresy line.

And I am finding this more and more in all things emergent(ing). It's the thing that makes its way in out of the conversations. Everyone is sloppy with their thoughts and words. Mostly this is because the emphasis is on "conversation" I think. It's as if the act of conversation itself will redeem anything said. Early on I believed that even if I wouldn't have admitted it.

Anyway, I enjoyed the review, it was very fair.

rich, thanks. "Early on I believed that even if I wouldn't have admitted it." Same here. I've enjoyed the journey with you and look forward to it continuing.
